Decision checklist

Before You Join anything, read this.

This checklist works for any paid business program, including Home Business Academy. A good opportunity will survive every question. If it does not, saying no is a win.

Ten questions to answer honestly

1. Can I afford it every month for at least six months?
Without borrowing, skipping bills or touching savings I need.
2. Do I know the full cost?
Every subscription, add-on, domain and advertising cost, and what renews.
3. Have I read the refund and cancellation terms?
How many days, how to cancel and what happens to my data.
4. Have I read the income disclosure?
What typical members actually earn, in the company's own words.
5. Does it fit my Big Vision?
Will it move me toward the life I described, or is it a detour?
6. Do I have the weekly hours?
Be specific. Count only hours I can protect in a normal week.
7. Does it pass the Opportunity Filter?
Score it on the seven questions in Tool 3.
8. Are there red flags?
Guaranteed income, pressure to decide today, hidden costs, or a focus on recruiting over real customers.
9. What could I do for free instead?
Could I learn and test the same skills with free tools first?
10. Would I be proud to explain this choice?
To someone I respect, with all the costs and risks on the table.

Our one firm rule

If you would have to borrow money or skip bills to join, do not join. Not HBA, not anything. Build your skills with our free tools first. The opportunity will still be there when your finances are steady.
